How does the gate access work and when can I access my unit?
A personal access code will be created upon entering the lease agreement and will be necessary to both enter and exit the facility. The gate will be open when manager is on site. Both climate-controlled and regular units can be accessed by tenants from 6:00am – 9:00pm, seven days a week.
What are the benefits of climate-controlled units?
The heat and humidity of the Florida environment can damage fine furniture, electronics, etc., and climate-controlled units can prevent possible damage. Climate-controlled units are our most popular units and we can put you on a waiting list if none are available at the time you are wanting to rent a unit.
Is there a security deposit?
No. All that is required in advance is payment for your first month’s rent.
Do the rates include sales tax?
Yes, listed rates include state and local sales tax.
What payment methods are available?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept cash, checks, and money orders.
What is the minimum term of lease?
The minimum term of lease is one month.
Should I get insurance?
We do not provide insurance. G&C Select Storage is not responsible for any loss or damage to your stored items. We recommend you contact your insurance agent for coverage if desired.
What cannot be stored in my unit(s)?
You may not store any improperly packaged food or perishable goods, flammable materials, explosives, corrosive materials or other inherently dangerous material.
